Who is Ghost?
who is anybody. . .? who am i. . .? who are you. . .? am i even talking to anybody. . .?
I enjoy roleplaying, horseback riding, reading, writing, drawing, movies, music, and just hanging out with friends and having a good time. :) I am a DJ at the campus radio station, WRHO (89.7 FM, The Voice of Hartwick Collge. . .sorry, I'm too used to saying that. :) I enjoy talking about philosophy at the breakfast table before everybody has had their first cup of coffee, and I can usually be found in my room , or in the campus cafe, Laura's Coffeehouse.
My intrests in reading is all over the place. I equally enjoy reading Plato's dialogues and the new Dean Koontz book. My collection includes various collections of mythology (Native American, Greek, Roman, Celtic), Sci-fi novels (Joan D. Vinge, Bradbury, Ellison {if you can count him as Sci-fi}, Asimov and others), Horror (King, Koontz, Poppy Z. Brite, Rice), Philosophy (Nietzsche, Plato, Dostoyvesky, Kafka), Religion, Fantasy, History, and lots more. My music collection is just as varied, I have everything from Beethoven to Bauhaus, NiN to Enya, and lots of Danny Elfman.
If asked to pick a favorite I don't think I would be able to do so, but if pressed I would say my favorite book is the Last Unicorn by Peter S. Beagle and my favorite musician would be Danny Elfman. :)
I mentioned I like to roleplay. My favorite systems are White Wolf (Vampire, Wraith and Changeling are a few of my fave games). I also like Paranoia by West End Games; In Nomine, by Steve Jackson Games and a few others. I also play some CCG (Collectibe Card Games); I've played Galatic Empires, Heresy, Wyvern, and Dune. I am the secretary of the campus gaming club, The Darkling Society (link will soon come as soon as Dan {hint} gives it to me).
I plan on putting some of my writing up on this page (even though I don't know who would want to read it) and maybe some of my art (which may be a little better than my writing). I do a lot of fanasty drawing, most of my writing is fiction, or just rambling ideas on a subject that I've been thinking about a lot (my big kick now is artificial intelligence). 8) I don't know what else to say, I can't think of anything else about me that you would consider interesting. As soon as I think of something more I'll be sure to add it. :)
